Can we start with Ship Sprint and upgrade?

Yes. Ship Sprint is designed to reach a shippable v1, then roll into Build + Lead for ongoing delivery — without losing context or rebuilding the stack.

What if scope exceeds the tier?

Scope is agreed upfront each cycle. If priorities shift, The Tech Bay re-scopes transparently before work continues — no surprise invoices.

Do you work with non-technical founders?

What are the minimum engagement and cancellation terms?

Ship Sprint and Build + Lead require a 3-month initial commitment, then month-to-month. AI Ops Teardown and AI Workflow Sprint are fixed engagements with 50% before start. Innovation Partner starts with a 2-month audit and scope phase. Discovery calls are free — no obligation.

Do you work with startups in Dubai or Abu Dhabi?

Yes. We work remotely with founders and tech teams in the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), primarily in English (French on request). You get a fractional CTO who ships — product judgment and ownership of the build — not a staffing bench.

Can you support teams in Lagos, Nairobi, Cape Town, Accra, or Kigali remotely?

Yes. The Tech Bay partners remotely with funded startups and serious companies across English- and French-speaking African tech hubs. Engagements stay scoped (Ship Sprint, Build + Lead, or Innovation Partner) with clear weekly capacity.

Are the product teardown and AI & innovation audit really free?

Yes. A few each month, no pitch inside the delivery. Builders typically get a product teardown; established companies weighing AI or innovation get an AI & innovation audit. If you want the work owned ongoing, we point to the right paid tier afterward.

Do you invoice in MAD, EUR, or AED?

Published tiers are in EUR. Morocco-based clients can request MAD invoicing. For UAE and other markets we stay on EUR unless a different currency is agreed in writing before kickoff.

Is this a fractional CTO or more of a product / CPO engagement?

The commercial seat is fractional CTO: architecture, the build, hires, and calls — with product judgment in the same seat. We don't sell a separate CPO title. If your gap is primarily roadmap theatre with no build ownership, we're not the fit.
